The first week of school felt like it lasted just as long as my entire eighth grade year. The transition from junior high to high school wasn't bad, but there is a lot more homework. The best part of high school is only having two real classes after lunch and then athletics. The worst part is that they can keep us in athletics as long as they want. My hardest subject is Pre-AP English. Although we read a lot of interesting and entertaining novels, we have a lot of homework in that class. I hope this year is great.
